Emerald Brookside in Lincoln, NE is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing facility. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support a safe, comfortable environment under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

The ideal candidate holds a Nebraska CNA certification, has prior facility experience, and can lift and move residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Current CNA certification in Nebraska.
• Ability to lift and move residents and perform patient-care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: help with transferring, positioning and ambulating.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: take and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration.
• Documentation: accurately document care and changes in residents’ conditions in EHR.
• Communication: promptly report changes to nursing staff or supervisor.
• Supportive Tasks: assist with feeding, meals and companionship.
• Infection Control: follow protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Team Collaboration: work with nurses and physicians for cohesive care.

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Emerald Brookside, Lincoln, NE

Reports to: Director of Nursing

Position Type: FT 6a-230p & 2p-1030p with every other weekend. Also PRN varied hours available.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-­being.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.

• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.

• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.

• Communication: Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.

• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.

• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications
