Job summary

Suncrest Hospice, part of Brighton/Suncrest, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate hospice care team. Working under nursing leadership, you will provide patient-centered care according to assessments and individualized care plans, and report changes in condition to the team.

You will collaborate with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership to promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and committed to improving patients’ quality of life.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership.
• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients within a supportive care team.
• Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel with reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Current CNA certification in the state(s) of practice.
• Eagerness to pursue additional certifications and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to hospice patients under nursing leadership and according to care plans.
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

The CNA follows all Company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.
