Job summary

Brighton Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient care under nursing leadership within hospice settings.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition while adhering to safety and infection-control practices. Travel is required to serve patients in the community.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and committed to improving patients’ quality of life.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership.
• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while being supported by a dedicated care team.
• Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Current CNA certification in the state(s) of practice.
• Eagerness to pursue additional certifications, education, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• The CNA works under the nursing leadership to provide compassionate care to hospice patients per assessments and care plans.
