Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, patient-centered care under nursing leadership, following individualized care plans and policy guidelines. The role emphasizes collaboration with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aides, along with independent daily responsibilities and willingness to travel as needed.

• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while being supported by a dedicated care team.
• Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The CNA works under the direction of the nursing leadership team to provide compassionate care to assigned hospice patients in accordance with their assessments and individualized care plans.
• The CNA collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition.
• The CNA follows all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.
