Job summary

Utopia Home Care, Inc. is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for The Retreat in Hartford, CT. This per diem role involves providing hands-on home health and personal care to clients in an assisted living setting, with weekend availability required.

Qualified candidates must hold a HHA or CNA certification, have a CT driver’s license or state ID, and supply necessary identity and medical documents. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a HHA or CNA certification and possess the original document of certification from a state approved training provider.
• Must be able to provide original documents for CT Driver's License or CT State ID and original Social Security Card.
• Must provide documentation of a physical and PPD taken within the past 12 months or be willing to obtain a physical and PPD test quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for clients who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in their homes, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers and medication reminders.
• Deliver compassionate care to seniors and clients with disabilities, maintaining safety, dignity and comfort in the home setting.

Utopia Assisted Living provides in-home care for 9 Managed Residential Communities (MRCs) in Connecticut, assisting clients with both nursing and home health aide services.
