Job summary

Utopia Home Care is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Seymour, CT for a per diem role. You will provide hands-on care to clients in their homes, assisting with ADLs and medications under CT state guidelines.

The position requires valid HHA/CNA certification, CT Driver's License or CT State ID, and a Social Security Card. Shifts include days/nights with flexibility and competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a HHA or CNA certification from a state-approved training provider.
• Must be able to provide original documents for CT Driver's License or CT State ID and Social Security Card.
• Must provide documentation of a physical and PPD within past 12 months or be willing to obtain them quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for clients requiring assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, mouth care, toileting, transfers, medication reminders).
• Deliver patient, compassionate support to seniors and clients with disabilities, reflecting family-like care.

Our Home Health Aides (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide hands-on care for clients who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in their homes. This includes, bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, toileting, transfers, and medication reminders. This position requires patience, compassion, and a desire to care for those who need it most, just like family.
