Apploi is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Holmes Lake Rehabilitation & Care Center in Lincoln, NE. This full-time role (1030P-630A) involves providing high-quality resident care in a clinical setting, with emphasis on safety, comfort, and well-being.

You will perform daily living activities, assist with mobility, monitor vital signs, document changes, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Current Nebraska CNA certification requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Assist with mobility including transferring, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Document care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in electronic records.
• Communicate changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and provide companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure comprehensive care.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.

• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.

• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.

• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.

• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.

• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
