Job summary

Suncrest/Brighton is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support hospice patients under nursing leadership. You will provide one-on-one patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and report changes in patient condition while adhering to policies and infection control practices.

Ideal candidates are committed to improving quality of life, able to travel as needed, and possess an active CNA certification in the practice state.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and committed to improving patients’ quality of life.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership.
• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while being supported by a dedicated care team.
• Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Current CNA certification in the state(s) of practice.
• Eagerness to pursue additional certifications, education, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• The CNA works under the direction of the nursing leadership team to provide compassionate care to assigned hospice patients in accordance with their assessments and individualized care plans.
• Collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition.
