Job summary

Bear Mountain Health and Rehabilitation seeks experienced CNAs to provide compassionate patient care in a resident-centered setting. The team focuses on quality and uplifting staff culture while delivering essential daily support to residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing, mobility, and vital sign monitoring, while reporting changes to nurses. Strong communication and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC is required.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be required for shifts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Customer service orientation with ability to handle pressure.
• Patient-centered approach with compassion and empathy.
• Willingness to make a difference in residents' lives.

Responsibilities

• Tend to residents' needs: bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs; assist with lifting and moving residents.
• Report changes in resident conditions to a nurse promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist nurses with assigned duties as directed.
• Ensure safety and proper body mechanics during care.

Shift Details:

All shifts available, 8 hour and 12 hour

What you will do:

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!
• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
