Job summary

Elevate Health and Rehab in Asheville, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts. You will care for residents including personal care, meals, and mobility, while maintaining resident dignity and safety.

Applicants must hold an active NC CNA certification, have strong English communication skills, and show professionalism. Vaccination proof will be required upon employment. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have active NC Nursing Assistant certification.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs and assist with lifting and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you will do:

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!
• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
