Job summary

Hilltop Health and Rehab, a member of Ascent Healthcare Management, is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). You must already be a CNA to apply for this job. We offer daily pay and a new pay scale, plus full-time benefits and a positive, resident-centered work environment.

Available shifts include Full Time AM 8 and 12 Hour, PRN, and Part Time on all shifts. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor vitals, and report changes to nursing staff while providing

Responsibilities

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs and assist with lifting, moving and transporting residents.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you will do:

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!
• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
