Job summary

Grand Prairie of Macomb is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide individualized resident care in person at our Macomb, IL location. You will assist with ADLs, uphold dignity and independence, and communicate changes to the clinical team. The role emphasizes compassionate engagement with residents and families.

Ongoing education and adherence to privacy rules are required. Advancement opportunities, comprehensive medical/dental/vision packages, and an employee referral program are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited CNA program required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care per each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report health status changes to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families in a compassionate, impactful manner.
• Participate in ongoing training via seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with confidentiality and privacy rules for resident information.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education
