Job summary

Care Initiatives, via AffiniCare, is hiring Mobile & Flexible CNAs to support 43 skilled nursing communities. Pick hours that fit your life and travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations to cover open shifts.

We value compassionate care and teamwork. Duties include assisting with daily living, providing emotional support, health monitoring, and coordinating with residents, families, and the care team. A CNA certification and six months of verifiable experience are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CNA experience.
• Active CNA certification.
• Willingness to travel between Care Initiatives communities.
• Must live within reasonable driving distance of communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Perform routine health monitoring including vital checks.
• Encourage resident recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Adhere to infection control protocols for a safe environment.

If you are a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) looking for a customizable schedule that best fits your personal life, this is a great opportunity for you! Prefer a full-time schedule? No problem! Need part time hours? We’ve got those too! As a CNA with AffiniCare, you will be able to pick what hours you prefer to work and travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations within an area to assist with their open shifts.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

What It Takes

• Six (6) months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
• Active CNA certification.
• The ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live in a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.
