Job summary

AffiniCare is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support Care Initiatives across multiple communities. The role offers a customizable schedule with both full-time and part-time options, and the ability to travel between locations to cover open shifts.

CNAs will provide daily living assistance, companionship, and health monitoring while ensuring a safe, clean environment with infection control protocols. A flexible, resident‑centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of verifiable CNA experience.
• Active CNA certification.
• Ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the region.
• Must live within a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Perform routine health checks and monitor residents' well‑being.
• Encourage participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

What it takes:

• Six (6) months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
• Active CNA certification.
• The ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live in a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.
