Job summary

AffiniCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who can customize their schedule to fit personal life needs. Positions may be full-time or part-time, with the ability to travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations within the area to cover open shifts.

CNAs will provide compassionate care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor health, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CNA experience.
• Active CNA certification.
• Ability to travel between Care Initiatives communities in your region.
• Residence within reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Perform routine health monitoring and vital checks.
• Encourage resident recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Adhere to infection control protocols for a safe environment.

As a CNA with AffiniCare, you will be able to pick what hours you prefer to work and travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations within an area to assist with their open shifts.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

What it takes:

• Six (6) months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
• Active CNA certification.
• The ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live in a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.
