Job summary

Vita of New Whiteland in New Whiteland, IN is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on 2nd shift. The role requires a current CNA certification and a high school diploma or GED, with a focus on compassionate, dignified resident care.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, communicate with residents and families, and participate in ongoing training and staff meetings to deliver personalized care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification from an accredited program.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care per resident care plans.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence.
• Report changes in resident health to the clinical team.

• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
