Job summary

ArchCare is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in daily living activities under the supervision of an RN or LPN. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals, ensuring comfort and safety for elderly residents who require extra help.

The role includes transferring residents per individual plans, documenting changes to eating habits, and upholding quality care within state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current NY State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Help transfer residents to/from activities and meals per care plans.
• Serve meals in dining room or apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services in line with regulations.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN, performs various resident care activities and related non-professional duties for the specific needs and comfort of the aged and those that need our help.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.
