Job summary

Four Corners Regional Health Care Center in Blanding, UT is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a night shift from 10 PM to 6 AM.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor intake, and report changes to nursing staff while ensuring safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with residents, family members, personnel, and visitors.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures.
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents in bed.
• Assist with daily living activities (getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, walking or exercising).
• Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate diets.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

Job Description:

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff
