Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab in St George, UT is expanding its CNA team for the weekend night shift (6 PM–6 AM). This part-time position includes on-the-job training, supportive colleagues, and opportunities for growth in geriatric care.

If you are a current CNA or willing to become certified within 120 days, you’ll receive certification support. Tuition reimbursement of up to $500/month toward a nursing program is available, with emphasis on strong communication and learning long-term care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment.
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
• Provide physical support for activities of daily living.
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and build relationships with residents.

Hours

This is a part time position, we are currently hiring for the Weekend Night Shift, 6 PM to 6 AM

Wages and Benefits:

• Competitive Salary
• If you are not yet certified, Red Cliffs Health and Rehab will pay for your nursing assistant certification (valued at over $500)
• CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
