Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in Mission, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to support residents in a long-term care setting with compassionate, hands-on care from 6am to 2pm.

You will perform daily nursing tasks, monitor vital signs, assist with grooming and mobility, and communicate changes to the Charge Nurse while adhering to care plans.

This role requires a CNA license and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.

Essential Functions

• Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries
• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse

QualificationsEducational/Training Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but to required

Licensing Requirements

• Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license

Experience Requirements

• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred
• Must be at least 16 years of age
