Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine daily nursing care at Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center in Austin, TX. The role supports residents per their care plans and assessments during a 2pm–10pm shift.

The CNA will assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, vital signs, and communication with the Charge Nurse. A CNA license is required, high school diploma preferred, and prior long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist resident in daily requirements and tasks (bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake, hair/nail care).
• Carry out duties per resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions to care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms or changes to Charge Nurse.

• Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries
• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse
