Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine daily nursing care to residents at Briarcliff Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in McAllen, TX. The CNA will follow resident assessments and care plans while supporting daily living activities.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CNA license, has or is willing to gain experience in a long-term care setting, and is at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policies and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of residents' conditions to care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms or changes to the Charge Nurse.

• Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries
• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse
