Job summary

Woodland Care and Rehab in Missouri is hiring compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team and deliver attentive resident care. The role includes assisting with grooming, mobility, feeding, and daily living activities during day shifts from 6:30am to 7:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises.
• Provides for personal care and comfort.
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance within the facility.
• Takes and records vital signs as directed.
• Delivers direct and indirect resident care services.
• Communicates changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

• Days 6:30am - 7:00pm

• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned
