Job summary

Steelville Care and Rehab is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team in Missouri. The role includes assisting residents with grooming, feeding, mobility, and daily care, while responding to signals for resident needs.

Shifts run 6:00am–6:00pm and 6:00pm–6:00am. We offer competitive pay based on experience, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, and a 401(k) plan with company matching, plus health and other insurance

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises.
• Provides for personal care and comfort.
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distances within the facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.

• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned
