Job summary

Affirmed Home Care in Bristol, CT is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care. You will assist with daily living activities, remind clients about medications, prepare meals, and offer companionship to help clients stay safe and independent at home.

Shifts are available from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays and weekends. The role requires a CT CNA license or HHA/CNA certificate, background health screening, and authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CNA or HHA experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license.
• TB/health screening requirements (PPD/QuantiFERON or chest X-ray).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Skills

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CNA or HHA experience
• Valid Connecticut CNA license or HHA/CNA certificate
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 12 months, or chest X-ray within 5 years
• Valid driver's license
