Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the anesthesia care team in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include evaluating patients preoperatively, monitoring vital signs during anesthesia, and documenting postoperative conditions in accordance with KP policies.

Candidate must be a CA-licensed RN and CRNA with ACLS/BLS certification, able to work within a multidisciplinary team and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and an accredited school of anesthesia by date of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed as a California RN and certified as a CRNA at hire; ACLS and BLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and consult with anesthesiologists/surgeons.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia during procedures.
• Document anesthesia care and postoperative reports; manage care outside the OR as needed.
• Prepare and mix anesthetic agents and ensure patient safety per policy.
