Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to administer general and regional anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. You will evaluate patients pre-operatively, select anesthetic plans, monitor intraoperative status and respond to emergencies across neonatal to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, medication preparation, post-operative evaluation, and teaching student nurse anesthetists in a busy operating room.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• CA RN license and CRNA certification are required.
• CRNA national certification and NPI are required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Administers general and regional anesthesia under medical supervision.
• Performs pre-op evaluation and collaborates with anesthesiologist.
• Monitors intraoperative patient condition and manages emergencies.
• Maintains equipment, medications and documentation per policy.
• Precepts students and ensures patient safety across age groups.
