Job summary

Brenham Nursing And Rehabilitation Center in Brenham, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and assessments.

You will assist with activities of daily living, observe residents, measure vital signs, and report changes to the Charge Nurse while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• CNA license is required to practice.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care such as bathing, feeding, dressing and mobility according to care plans.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
• Observe for symptoms or changes in residents and report to the Charge Nurse.
• Contribute to the resident care plan with observations and daily needs.
• Respond promptly to calls and ensure resident safety and comfort.
