Job summary

Remington Transitional Care of San Antonio is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine daily nursing care for residents, following assessments and care plans in a long-term care setting.

You will assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, and daily activities; document vital signs and report changes to the Charge Nurse, contributing to safe, compassionate resident care. A CNA license is required; long-term care experience is preferred, and applicants 16+ may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but to required
• Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents per assessments and care plans.
• Assist residents with bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, hair and nails, and mobility; respond to calls.
• Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policy and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of residents' conditions to care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes to the Charge Nurse.
