Job summary

Wellington Care Center is seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily care to residents. The role emphasizes strong attendance, teamwork, and adherence to care plans.

You will assist with grooming, bathing, mobility, and vital sign recording, while maintaining a clean environment and upholding the Patient Bill of Rights. A Texas CNA certification is required; a $2000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! This role requires strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. You’ll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

Your Impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant

In this role, you will:

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
