Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, in Roxboro, NC, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, essential patient care under nursing supervision. You will assist with daily activities, monitor vitals, and document care to support high-quality outcomes.

Full-time Days with comprehensive benefits are available. BLS and CNA certification are required, with a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Monitoring vital signs and blood glucose as needed.
• Accurate intake/output recording.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.
• Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.

Requirements

Basic Life Support certification is required.

High School diploma preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required
