Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. You will perform basic diagnostic procedures, collect specimens, and document patient care while maintaining supplies and exam areas.

The role also includes administrative tasks, scheduling, and ensuring excellent patient service across the care team. Training and development opportunities accompany a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• License CMA or RMA or CCMA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care given and maintains equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas and performs administrative duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.
