Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, NC, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. You will perform basic diagnostic procedures, collect specimens, document care, and support both clinical and clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• License CMA or RMA or CCMA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

How You'll Contribute

• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care given. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.
