National Park Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time day shift in Hot Springs, AR. The role provides direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision, including vital signs, ADL assistance, and reporting changes to the nursing team.

Qualificações

• Performs basic patient care activities delegated by an RN or LPN.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, ambulation).
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff promptly.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Essential Functions

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care; works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Education: High School diploma preferred.

License: /Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant in state of practice; BLS required; Handle with Care preferred.
