Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in Sanford, NC. You will perform essential patient care under RN supervision, monitor vitals and intake/output, assist with ADLs, and ensure clean, stocked environments while supporting staff and throughput.

The role emphasizes documentation, timely reporting of changes, and adherence to unit standards, with focus on compassionate patient care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.
• Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.
