Job summary

Lifepoint Health, Inc. is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time day shift at a Hot Springs, AR hospital.

The CNA will support nursing staff with basic patient care under RN/LPN supervision, monitor vitals, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a clean, safe patient environment. Education requirements include a high school diploma and an active CNA license in the state of practice, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant license in state of practice; BLS required
• Handle with Care preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care; works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
