Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in Beaumont, TX seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with resident assessments and care plans.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, and mobility; recording vitals; and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse. A CNA license is required, and prior long-term care experience is preferred; candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

Experience in a long-term care facility preferred; must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily care needs such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and observing food intake.
Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
Measure and record vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
Detect and report situations that may cause accidents or injuries.
Contribute knowledge of residents' conditions to care plans.
Observe and report symptoms or changes to the Charge Nurse.

Job description

Overview

The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.

Responsibilities

Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls
Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure
Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse
Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries
Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans
Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse

Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
Licensing Requirements: Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license
Experience Requirements: Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred; Must be at least 16 years of age
