Regency Integrated Health Services in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) on an as-needed basis to provide routine daily nursing care at Ebony Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

You will assist residents with bathing, feeding, and mobility, observe vital signs, and follow care plans while reporting changes to the Charge Nurse; a High school diploma is preferred and a valid CNA license is required; long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily care tasks (bathing, feeding, dressing) and mobility.
Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policies.
Measure and record vital signs and report to Charge Nurse.

Primary Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.

Essential Functions

Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls
Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure
Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse
Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries
Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans
Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse

Educational/Training Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Licensing Requirements

Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license

Experience Requirements

Experience in a long‑term care facility is preferred
Must be at least 16 years of age
