Job summary

Benchmark at Rye in Rye NH is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team. The role involves delivering care to residents in a warm, home-like environment with full-time shifts 7a–7p or 2p–10p and pay of $25–$26.25 per hour.

As a CMT, you will be responsible for medication administration, documentation, and liaison with the Resident Care Director. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and advancement within Benchmark Senior Living.

Qualifications

• Must hold state Medication Technician license and comply with state protocol.
• CPR certification required or obtained within six months of hire.
• Complete state-approved training course in drug administration.
• Med-Tech competency reviewed quarterly by RN/RCD.

Responsibilities

• Communicates questions, concerns, and discrepancies related to medication administration to the RCD.
• Notifies RCD of any significant change in resident status.
• Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.
• Documents/ notifies RCD of administration of PRN meds.
• Responsible for documentation on PRN meds and affect.
• Recognizes and helps prevent elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
