Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team. As a CMT, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, home-like environment.

This position includes Part Time evenings and Per Diem all shifts, offering opportunities to contribute to resident wellbeing, with focus on accurate medication administration and thorough documentation in collaboration with RN/RCD staff.

Qualifications

• Must have state Medication Technician License and competency per state protocol.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Current CNA certification or completed CHHA/homemaker training program.
• High School education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates questions, concerns, and discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
• Communicates any significant change of mental or physical status of resident to RCD.
• Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.
• Documents/notifies RCD of administration of PRN meds.
• Responsible for documentation on PRN meds and affect.
• Recognizes and can assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
