Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications to residents under supervision. You will follow facility policies, document accurately, and report any medication errors to the charge nurse and nursing supervisor.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma, are licensed medication technicians, and possess excellent communication skills to work with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a licensed medication tech with state-approved training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies governing medication administration.
• Document accurately and report errors or adverse reactions.
• Assist in developing procedures to prevent medication errors.
• Complete required forms, charts, and reports.
• Ensure drug receipt error documentation is signed by observer and you.
• Measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Notify Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing of any issues promptly.
