Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Westphalia, MO is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications to residents under physician supervision. Qualifications

• Must be a licensed medication tech with state-approved training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report medication administration errors.
• Assist in developing procedures to identify and prevent medication errors.
• Complete forms, charts, and reports as required by the facility.
• Document drug receipt errors with an observer’s signature.
• Measure and report residents’ vital signs accurately.
• Notify Charge Nurse or Nursing Director of any medication issues.
• Record medication orders in residents’ clinical records (type, route, dosage, frequency, strength).
