Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Technician in De Soto, MO to assist with administering medications to residents under supervision. You will follow facility policies, document errors, and work with the nursing team to prevent errors while ensuring resident comfort and safety.

The role requires state-approved training and a high school education minimum, plus strong communication and interpersonal skills for a collaborative care setting with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school education or equivalent.
• Licensed medication technician with state-approved training and exam(s) per state law.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report medication administration errors.
• Assist in developing procedures to prevent medication errors.
• Complete forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Document drug receipt errors with proper reporting.
• Accurately measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Notify the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing Services of medication issues.
• Follow medication card practices and record orders accurately in resident records.
