Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under nursing supervision. You will follow facility policies, report medication errors, and support the care team to ensure safe, compassionate resident care.

A state-approved training and license are required, with strong communication skills. This is an onsite role in Missouri with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed medication tech having state-approved training and passing required exams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies governing administering medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Develop and implement procedures to prevent medication errors.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, and related administrative tasks.
• Accurately measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Notify Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or Director of Nursing Services of any medication issues.
