Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Owensville, MO is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications as ordered by the physician, under supervision of nursing leadership.

You will help ensure safe medication practices, document administration events, and support residents with compassionate care. If you are a state-approved licensed medication tech with strong communication skills, join our caregiving family.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Licensed medication tech with state-approved training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and oral communication in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and procedures for administering medications.
• Note and report medication administration errors.
• Assist in developing procedures to prevent medication errors.
• Complete administrative forms, charts, reports, etc., as required.
• Ensure documentation of drug receipt error includes a written report.
• Accurately measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Notify Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or Director of Nursing Services of errors or reactions.
• Follow medication card practices of the facility.
• Record orders in the resident's clinical record with type, route, dosage, frequency, and strength.
