Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under supervision of nursing leadership.

The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and well-being across Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing services.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.
• Must be a licensed medication tech with state-approved training and necessary exams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow the policies and procedures governing the administering of medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Develop and implement procedures to determine medication errors and prevent recurrence.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, and submit as required.
• Document drug receipt errors with written reports.
• Accurately measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Notify Charge Nurse or Nursing Directors of any errors or reactions.
• Follow medication card practices and facility procedures for recording orders.
