Job summary

Americare Senior Living in St. Clair, MO, is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to provide safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate resident care within our skilled nursing community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Missouri-approved Certified Medication Technician (CMT) course.
• Active CMT certification in good standing with annual updates.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration and document dosage and time.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and medications.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure resident safety.
• Follow facility policies and state regulations.
