Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking a certified med tech to join our care team as a Care Aide. The role supports residents with daily living, staying engaged, safe and independent, and requires Direct Caregiver Certification. Shifts include full-time, part-time and PRN with every other weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified med tech.
• Direct Caregiver Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.

Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.

Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.

Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Med Tech Certificate (Required)
