Job summary

Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to support residents with daily living and medication administration. The role requires a CNA I certificate in Maryland and a current Certified Medication Technician license, plus CPR certification.

Experience in CNA I and medication tech is preferred. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ($18.00–$23.00) based on licensure, with potential $1 shift differential for evenings and nights.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current, active CNA I certification for Maryland.
• Current, active Certified Medication Technician certification.
• Minimum of 1 year CNA I experience.
• Minimum of 1 year Medication Technician experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in activities of daily living and daily living tasks.
• Administer medications to residents.
• Assist residents with personal care plans respecting their routines and preferences.
• Support residents with activities and programs.
• Collaborate with clinical team to address residents’ needs in a timely manner.
• Provide medication administration to residents.

Location: Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Certified Medication Tech(CMTs). Our CMTs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

We are currently offering up to a $500 sign on bonus for CMT positions scheduled for 24+ hours per week.

Compensation: Ranging from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour; based upon years of licensure. Potential for shift differential of $1.00 per hour for evening and night shifts.

How you will make an impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Administration of medication to residents

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current, active CNA I certification for the state f Maryland
• Current, active certification for Certified Medication Technician
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA I experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of Medication Technician experience highly preferred
• Current CPR certification required.
