Job summary

Oaks Senior Living in Georgia seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide hands-on supervision of caregiver staff during shifts and ensure high-quality resident care in a person-centered environment.

You will administer medications following the six rights, maintain MOR records, protect resident privacy, and collaborate with the Wellness Director to uphold safety and care standards while responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working with residents in a Senior Living environment.
• Supervisory experience preferred in healthcare or service settings.
• Must be in good standing with the Georgia CNA/CMA Registry and hold required state certificates.
• Must be 21 years of age with satisfactory criminal history check.
• Must pass physical exam and a negative drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties assigned by the Wellness Director/Executive Director and supervise caregiver staff.
• Adhere to each resident's Negotiated Service Plan and notify changes.
• Administer medications according to MOR and six rights, maintaining resident privacy.
• Document accurately on MOR after each medication event and ensure proper MAR records.
• Respond to resident emergencies and follow Oaks Senior Living procedures.
